Tuesday afternoon saw unbelievable scenes in Uganda’s Parliament as Members of Parliament fight and throw chairs at each other
The brawl erupted with tension over claims of guns inside Parliament. State Minister for Water Resources Ronald Kibuule was accused by opposition MPs lead by MP Hon Semujju Ibrahim Nganda that the NRM man had sneaked a gun in the house and threatened to blow up his brains over age limit debate.
Security on the orders of Speaker Rebecca Kadaga then conduct search of all MPs in the House over concerns about possession of firearm but not was found.
Makindye West MP Allan Ssewanyana aka Omusajja Wabwiino was captured on CCTV camera and local televisions throwing a chair at Mr. Kibuule as a brawl ensued in Parliament. For over ten minutes, Kibuule and Ssewanyana were seen flexing on the floor nearly engaging in a live physical fist fight.

Another scuffle erupted before 4pm as police denied Kyadondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi access to the building because of his ‘red bandana’.
